The NP10 has a hand oil varnish which is put over a spirit base. This is a way for us to offer you an instrument with an oil finish at less cost without sacrificing tonal quality expected from an oil varnish instrument. Suggested pricing for 1/2 size is $699.00 and $950.00 for the 3/4 and full-size violins. Pricing includes setup with name brand strings.
